Charles has 8 years in clinical practice and 20-plus years in the pharmaceutical industry with 12-plus years of senior executive leadership roles with Abbott Laboratories Inc./AbbVie Inc., Pfizer inc., and Sanofi Inc. overseeing commercial activities, including Health Economics, Pricing, Reimbursement and Market Access (PR&A), Epidemiology and Big Data analytics. In these roles he has been overseeing offices in the US, EU, Middle-East, Asia-Pacific and Latin America, and introduced disruptive PR&A strategies that have resulted in multiple billions of dollars of incremental annual revenue. Charles served as a senior executive at Samsung overseeing its global commercial activities. He attended Medical and Pharmacy school at the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, where he also obtained his Ph.D. in Pulmonary Medicine.
